Situated at the south of Perigueux, the medieval and warm city of Perigord. Beside the “Isle”, tributary of the “Dordogne”, and along of the hiking trail to Santiago de Compostella; 20 kms from Brantome : “la Venise du Périgord”; 35 kms from Dordogne valley with her castles, her famous caves; 50 kms from St Emilion the start of the prestigious Bordeaux vineyards.

In the heart of the white Perigord, The Beaulieu is an old home dating from the 17^th century typical of the Perigord. Originally it was a house then a city hall, a school and now returns to bed and breakfast; with its stone walls, monumental fire place and is situated in the heart of the village of Gravelle.

The Beaulieu, a haven of peace and tranquillity, is situated in the grounds century old parkland. Totally renovated, the house offers seven bedrooms for one, two or three persons. The reception is personalized for a rest stopover. The living room and the dining room stay true to its rustic-style and old style charm.

A jacuzzi guarantees relaxation after a visiting day in the region.

The breakfast is included in the bedroom’s price.

Breakfast includes, coffee,tea, chocolate or milk, different choice of fruit juice, fresh fruits marmalades, toasts and brioches, croissants etc.
For 3 euros more: selection of omelettes, egg dishes and cooked meats.
 

Dinner
The dinner is served around the fire place or in the garden: regional dishes made from local products. 20 euros per person, wine and drinks not included; Reservations to be made 24 hours before.

The Dordogne is a famous country for truffles, foiegras, potted duck, and porcini mushrooms. What a delicious temptation!!

Some famous restaurants are near the “Beaulieu” and we will be happy to reserve these for you.

Perigueux Golf Club

Perigueux Municipal Golf Course is located on the banks of the river Isle in the heart of the Perigord region.
This 18 hole course, which is relatively flat, is crossed by the Beauronne which is a small stream and adds a number of features and hazards to the course. There are several other water features to negotiate..... The practice area includes covered driving range, putting green, bunker and pitching area. There is a Proshop and well equipped club house with a restaurant/bar area which is open all year.
