Ideally situated between le Cap Ferret and Arcachon in the calm and forested area of Andernos les Bains and much appreciated by the squirrels in the area, La Villa Herbert offers five new bedrooms in their bed and breakfast and guest house. 

Styled in the local fishermans lodges, each well decorated bedroom has a double bed, reading area,  an ensuite bathroom and own private deck area.

In the grounds of La Villa Herbert is a large swimming pool surrounded by palm trees.   

We can also offer evening meals of traditional local cuisine accompanied by local wines.  Breakfast can be taken in our breakfast lounge or on the terrace in the warmer days.  We are also able to offer you picnic hampers for your lunch.

We are only 1.5kms from the town centre where you can find all the shops, supermarkets, covered market, restaurants and bars and a local outdoor market every Friday.

Gujan Mestras
An internationally renowned course which is both a severe test of golfing skills and a pleasure on the eye. Like some of the famous Florida courses, Gujan makes the most of its natural environment of pine forest and lakes, to which have been added bunkers of brilliant white sand.


Pessac Golf Course 18 holes, par 72, 6056 m
Surrounded by beautiful pine forest, Pessac is a fairly flat but intelligently designed layout making good use of water hazards. Don’t waste shots around the fairways, because the greens are renowned throughout the region for their speed and cruel contours !

Golf du Medoc 36 holes
The Châteaux course, 6,316 meters, par of 71, a Scottish links with wide fairways bordered by heather, gorse and broom entice golfers into the delights of a carefully preserved nature.  The Vignes course, 6,220 meters, par 71 is set in a typically regional landscape where the beauty of the moors and the maritime pines serve to enhance the architect's design.

Arcachon golf Club - 5953 Metres Par 72
In a region of British tradition, architects Blandford and Pierre Hirigoyen laid out a subdued golf course, which embraces but never disrupts the hilly terrain on the front nine and the flatter holes around the back. The broken relief means that the second shot to a number of elevated greens is not leaving the driver in the bag.

Biscarrosse Golf Club
Between lake and ocean, come and see Biscarrosse’s Golf, with his 27 holes entirely constructed trough the landaise forest.  In a green frame and a preserved nature, you can choose between two different courses:
The lake: 9 short holes but technical. Par 32, length 2.172 M
The Ocean: 18  holes  Par 72, length 5.784 m

Margaux Golf Club
The course lies right in the heart of the famous Margaux vineyards, close to the most prestigious chateaux of the Médoc. The fairways are lined with elms and ash trees, with some following the banks of the Gironde estuary and others surrounded by lakes and water hazards.
