THE TERRITORY:

The Fattoria Medicea is located in Monsummano Terme, in the heart of the Valdinievole area, where you may find important monuments to visit such as: the Santuario della Madonna di Fontenuova, as well as the Museum of Contemporary and 20th Century Art which can be found inside the Villa Martini and the Giusti House Museum (the town is where the famous poet was born).

The oldest part of Monsummano Terme is Monsummano Alto, founded in the XI century. It still preserves the ruins of its Castle with its octagonal layout as well as the ruins of its surrounding wall.

Immersed in the Tuscan countryside, the Montecatini Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course of natural beauty that has been built in the hilly countryside. The player is faced with many natural hazards such as lakes, streams, forests, and ditches which have been formed as part of the natural contours of the land. As well, the course features many dog legs and the greens are very fast and are also undulating, putting the best golfer's skill to the test.

Pavoniere Golf Club

6137 m., Par 72. The course has been made more undulating with sensible earth filling, and is surrounded by holm-oak woods, by cluster pine and cypresses. Very long fairways, four tees for each hole are the features of the course. The greens are all about a thousand square metres wide and are very undulating.
