This rustic 19th-century manor house is set within peaceful gardens in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Quinta Das Murtas features an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and free Wi-Fi in public areas.

The guest rooms are decorated in the authentic style of a Portuguese villa, some with antique furniture and neutral décor. All rooms feature an en suite bathroom, and some have views overlooking the UNESCO heritage town of Sintra.

The Quinta’s gardens are a tranquil haven full of birds and plants, as well as the outdoor pool and sun terrace. There is excellent hiking nearby, including the 2 km walk to Pena Palace, the oldest palace to have been inspired by European Romanticism.

This is the Estoril Coast's newest course and the flat terrain makes this an enjoyable and not exhausting course. Designed by Rocky Roquemore, there are 6 lakes and 40,000 trees, so accuracy is key here. Excellent mountain views. Practice range, tuition.

Penha Longa Golf Resort

The Atlantic Course is an 18-hole, par 72, championship course of 6,290 meters, offering a challenging course with breathtaking views over the ocean with Estoril and Cascais to the South and the Sintra hills to the North. The Monastery Course is a nine-hole, par 35 course of 2,588 meters. This course spreads around the historical heart of the resort and is the perfect complement to The Atlantic Course

Estoril Golf Club

The Estoril Golf Course is located in one of Europe's oldest established tourist resorts. The 18 hole circuit is one of the most original in the whole country: it is nested in a valley, making the most of the plains situated on the north side of the mountains.  Since 1992 the LSC  it prides itself on 18 holes, Par 69, over 5,261 meters, with an extremely rich and beautiful forest biodiversity and a striking brook which runs throughout the entire course.

Quinta da Marinha

The golf course at Quinta da Marinha has 18 holes with 5.870 metres of unadulterated nature surroundings and major challenges. Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Senior, this par 71 has great views to Atlantic Ocean and Sintra Mountains.

Oitavos Dunes Golf Course

One of the finest courses in the region. Renowned American designer Arthur Hills has created an exciting mixture of links and parkland holes while retaining the area's natural beauty. Oitavos has a traditional 'out and back' layout, but that's the only ordinary thing about it. The amazing glass-fronted clubhouse is almost as spectacular as the scenery, with every hole offering views of the Atlantic
