 A luxurious, one bedroom cottage situated in the beautiful rolling hills of historic Banffshire. 1.5 miles from Aberchirder and the local shops and amenities, Banff, Turriff, Macduff, and Huntly are all within a ten mile radius. Well situated for sea, river and trout fishing, 3.5 miles to River Deveron. It is in the grounds of a private 5 acre croft. There is safe off road parking, a patio area and garden with B-B-Q facilities.

The cottage is beautifully and tastefully furnished with central heating and double glazing. We are close to Castle and Whisky trails and there are fantastic golden beaches along the Moray coast, good walking trails, mountain biking, Nordic skiing and tubing for the youngsters. There is abundant wildlife including Dolphins, Whales and Puffins to be seen and enjoyed. Trips around Troup head and Dolphin watching can be arranged from both Banff and Macduff harbours.

Accommodation:

The Cottage has one bedroom with twin automatic beds, TV, DVD and hair dryer, and a double sofa bed in the generously proportioned lounge. Fully equipped for 4 people, all linen is provided including towels. The beds will be freshly made up for your arrival. The bathroom has a walk in shower with seating and grab rails, a toilet seat raiser is available if required and is suitable for the assisted disabled as well as able bodied. There is a fully equipped kitchen with full size cooker, fridge/freezer, micro-wave, washing machine and tumble drier. All kitchen materials are provided.

The well proportioned lounge has reclining chairs, TV, Freeview, DVD, Video and music centre. A small collection of DVD’s, CD’s and videos are provided for your enjoyment. The French doors lead out to a patio with garden furniture and B-B-Q where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Grampian Mountain

Our 35ft X 10ft static caravan is located on the same site and has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Sleeps 2 in comfort.

Duff House Royal Golf Club

The course is a flat, beautifully manicured parkland course with little rough. The large “Mackenzie” two-tiered greens, many well positioned bunkers and trees make the course a severe but fair challenge to golfers of all abilities.

Cullen Golf Club

Cullen must lay claim to the most remarkable site for a golf course in Europe. There is not a lot of room within this amazing environment for Cullen’s 18 holes, with the course playing it’s outward nine close to the cliffs before doing an about-turn with the inward nine playing back at beach level,

Royal Tarlair Golf Club

A cliff top parkland course which certainly presents a challenge for the more serious golfer,and offers enjoyable golf in an ideal setting for the not so serious. A warm welcome awaits all visitors to Royal Tarlair and all we ask of you is to enjoy your golf while here

Turriff Golf Club

Those of us fortunate enough to play Turriff on a regular basis are fulsome in our praise of the course and its surroundings. On a fine summer’s day there is no finer place to be.

Huntly Golf Club is a parkland course set in the former policies of Huntly Castle itself. Very popular with outings since, being relatively short at 4904yds.
