An Edwardian country house, built in 1900 as the Dower House for the local estate, Drumleys House looks out over lawns and gardens across the rolling arable landscape of Angus, the foothills of the Grampian Highlands.

Bed and breakfast accommodation, with optional dinner. Perth, Dundee within 30 minutes. 10 mins from Glamis Castle.

It is the family home of Peter and Silla Keyser who welcome guests for bed and breakfast. Traditionally furnished, warm and comfortable, with lots of wildlife and sporting pictures, Drumleys House is a very relaxed, informal and friendly place to stay.

There's a good cross-section of restaurants in the area and if you would like to eat out Silla can recommend, arrange and book tables for you. Alternatively Silla offers traditional Scottish home-cooked country dinner at Drumleys House as well.

Breakfast and optional Dinner:
Breakfast can be porridge and eggs and bacon, etc, or lighter Continental breakfast.

Dinner (optional but recommended!), is served in the Dining Room, and is traditional Scottish country family cooking: fresh vegetables (from the garden in season), fish, venison and game.

An 18-hole (6,259 yds) heathland layout, Alyth Golf Club was established in 1894. The original 9 holes were designed by the master Old Tom Morris of St Andrews with James Braid completing the extension in 1934

Strathmore Golf Centre
Opened in 1996 and has quickly matured and gained a reputation as the "Friendly Place to Play Golf".  The centre has something for everyone, the 18-hole Rannaleroch Course and the 9-hole Leitfie Links, 10 bay covered golf range, golf academy and a friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse.

Forfar Golf Club
The original course was laid out by four time Open Champion Old Tom Morris of St Andrews in 1871 with alterations being made in 1926 by James Braid. .

Glenisla Golf Club

Kirriemuir Golf Club
Kirriemuir offers an admirable and highly enjoyable heathland/parkland layout, the perfect length for the entire day’s golf. The contours of each hole and arrangement of the course as a whole make for an undiminished golfing encounter. Avenues of woods, gorse and broom surround lush, undulating fairways with greens that are impeccable and true.

Blairgowrie Golf Club
The Club features the renowned Rosemount and Lansdowne championship courses plus a very attractive 9-hole course which are set in heather lined avenues of pine and silver birch. 

Carnoustie  and St. Andrews  both are a short hour from Drumleys.
